Strathaven organisation receives highest award from Ministry of Defence

A Lanarkshire organisation based in Strathaven has been awarded the highest accolade by the Ministry of Defence (MOD) for their outstanding support towards the Armed Forces Community. QTS Group, a leading railway contractor in the UK, received the prestigious Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) Gold Award in partnership with North Lanarkshire Council. This award is a symbol of honour that recognises businesses that actively employ and assist members of the armed forces, veterans, and their families.

QTS Group, renowned for its expertise in railway contracting services such as vegetation management, civil engineering, and geotechnical services, has demonstrated a strong commitment to supporting ex-Forces personnel and their families. In a statement, Minister for Veterans and People Alistair Carns commended the nearly 200 organisations, including QTS Group, that received the Gold Award for their continuous efforts in supporting the Armed Forces Community.
