Tributes paid to ‘wonderful mother’ as family name A96 lorry crash victim

Tributes have been pouring in for Paulina Zogota, a 27-year-old woman who tragically lost her life in a car crash with a lorry on the A96 road near Forres in the Highlands. The incident occurred on Monday, November 11, resulting in Paulina being pronounced dead at the scene. Described by her family as a “wonderful mother, wife, daughter, and friend,” Paulina leaves behind a seven-year-old son. Originally from Poland, efforts are now underway to repatriate her body back to her homeland, with a fundraiser set up to support the costs.
In a poignant post, her family expressed their deep sadness and highlighted the significant loss felt by all who knew Paulina. They emphasised her love for Poland as her true home and the heartfelt desire to lay her to rest there. The community has rallied together to provide assistance and condolences during this difficult time. Police investigations into the crash are ongoing, with authorities appealing for witnesses to come forward and assist in piecing together the circumstances of the collision. The driver of the lorry, a 57-year-old man, did not sustain any injuries requiring medical attention.
