A9 Ballinluig diversions following four-vehicle crash


A four-vehicle crash has led to diversions being put in place on the A9 near Ballinluig. Police are advising motorists to steer clear of the area following the incident which occurred at around 8.15am. Both northbound and southbound routes on the A9 are currently closed as a result of the crash.

For those travelling northbound, the diversion takes them through the A822 at Dunkeld, then onto the A826 and A827 before joining back onto the A9 north of Ballinluig. On the other hand, southbound diversions lead drivers on the A924 to Bridge of Cally, then the A93 to Blairgowrie, and finally the A923 to Dunkeld before re-joining the A9. Police Scotland is urging motorists to seek alternative routes if possible to avoid any further disruptions.
