Cops hunt gang that broke into several Scots homes

Police are on the hunt for a gang that has broken into several homes in Scotland. The incidents took place recently, with one occurring at a house on Castle Crescent between Tuesday, 12 November and Wednesday, 13 November. Authorities are investigating to determine if anything was stolen during this break-in. Another attempted break-in happened around 2.30am on Wednesday, 13 November at a house on Blair Road. The suspects fled when they were disturbed, running through gardens and then entering a white Volkswagen Golf estate car parked on Blair Road.

Detective Constable Graeme Comrie has stated that they believe the same individuals may be responsible for both crimes. Authorities are appealing to the local community for any information that may assist in the investigation. They are asking anyone who was in the area of Castle Crescent or Blair Road during the specified times and may have seen anything suspicious to come forward. Anyone who has noticed a white Volkswagen Golf estate car being driven in the area is also encouraged to contact the police.

Those with information are urged to call 101, quoting reference number 0716 of 13 November. Alternatively, they can reach out to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. Investigators are working diligently to apprehend the suspects and prevent further incidents of this nature.

The police’s swift action in responding to these break-ins demonstrates their commitment to ensuring the safety and security of residents in the region. It serves as a reminder for homeowners to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the authorities promptly.
