Drugs worth £125,000 seized by cops at Scots ferry terminal as man charged

Police in Scotland have made a significant drug seizure amounting to over £125,000 at a ferry terminal in Shetland. The operation took place at the Lerwick terminal around 7:30 am on Friday, November 29. Authorities intercepted a van and discovered approximately 1.3kg of Heroin valued at around £65,000 and about 512g of Cocaine worth an estimated £64,000. A 44-year-old man was subsequently arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
The individual is set to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court via video link from custody on Monday, December 2.
