Magaluf ‘rape gang’ face up to 150 years after ‘attacking British teenager’

Eight men are facing up to 150 years in prison after being accused of gang-raping a British teenager in Magaluf. Spanish public prosecutors are seeking individual jail sentences of between 18 and 20 years for each of the suspects, totaling 151 years. The men, seven French nationals and one from Switzerland, have been in prison on remand since their arrests last year and are expected to remain behind bars until their trial.

The suspects are said to have raped the 18-year-old British tourist in Magaluf in August the previous year.
