Man battered neighbour with metal pole and broke his arm

Ross Millar, 37, from Jarvie Avenue, Plains, had been helping the 20-year-old neighbour, who was bleeding and carrying two knives, to return home when the violent incident occurred in Barlandfauld Street, Kilsyth, on March 30. The victim, with blood-covered hands and bare feet, had armed himself with knives before Millar armed himself with a metal pole to escort the man. A neighbour witnessed the victim shouting, “I’m not scared to die,” as they headed towards his home.
