Man rushed to hospital after being assaulted and robbed in Port Glasgow

A man was taken to the hospital after being assaulted and robbed in Port Glasgow. The 56-year-old victim was attacked on Montgomerie Street around 2pm on Saturday, November 23. He was targeted for his wallet and jewellery during the incident. The man was quickly transported to Inverclyde Royal Hospital for treatment and was later discharged.
Police have launched an appeal for information following the assault and robbery. The suspects are described as two white males aged between 20-30 years with slim builds. One was dressed in grey clothing, while the other wore black clothing. Detective Constable Agnieszka Telford urged anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the Montgomerie Street area on Saturday afternoon to come forward.
