Paddy McGuinness hails ‘magic’ crowds in Scots town as he nears end of epic Children in Need cycle challenge

After a well-deserved rest at the Strathaven Hotel before the final stretch to Glasgow, McGuinness mentioned his exhaustion and eagerly anticipated an ice bath to soothe his tired muscles. Setting off at 6.45am the following morning for the last 18.5 miles of his remarkable journey, he reflected on the incredible support he received in Strathaven as “mind-blowing,” likening it to a celebratory parade atmosphere from the 80s.
