Police hunt for two balaclava-clad thieves who stole safe and cash from Perth property


Police in Perth are on the lookout for two thieves who were wearing balaclavas when they broke into a property and stole a safe along with a sum of cash. The incident took place in Tulliburn Place, Perth between 6.45pm and 7pm on a Saturday evening. The thieves, described as two men aged between 18 and 25, managed to gain entry to the property and made off with the safe containing cash.

Detective Constable Craig McLeod urged anyone with information to come forward, as the investigation is ongoing. He also appealed to those with private CCTV or dashcam footage of the area at the time of the incident to contact the police. One of the suspects was wearing a dark top under a light-coloured gillet and dark trousers, while the other was dressed in a red jacket and dark trousers.

Anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the area or has relevant information is urged to contact the authorities on 101, quoting incident number 3537 of November 16. Alternatively, individuals can reach out to Crimestoppers anonymously at 0800 555 111.

The theft has left the community alarmed, and the police are working diligently to bring the perpetrators to justice. Residents are encouraged to stay vigilant and report any suspicious behaviour to help prevent such incidents from reoccurring.
