Cops were called to a Ryanair flight following an incident where a passenger allegedly urinated in the aisle while en route to Tenerife. Concerns arose among cabin crew members regarding the behaviour of disruptive passengers, with one individual reportedly urinating in the aisle amidst chaotic scenes. The incident took place on flight FR3152 from East Midlands Airport on November 4 at 6.29 am during the journey to Tenerife South Airport, lasting four and a half hours.
Upon landing on the Canary island, the crew requested police assistance. According to Travel and Tour World, a person was seen urinating on the floor in the middle of the aisle. Ryanair confirmed that police were called after a “small number of passengers became disruptive onboard.” These passengers were subsequently removed from the aircraft. The budget airline informed Birmingham Live that the crew of the East Midlands to Tenerife flight sought police help due to disruptive passengers. The flight landed just before 11 am local time, at which point the passengers were escorted off the plane by local authorities in Tenerife.
Ryanair’s CEO Michael O’Leary previously stated that passenger disruption on flights increased in August due to a high number of flight delays during the summer, coupled with more passengers consuming drugs and alcohol.
