Three arrested after Scots schoolboy jumped by gang in ‘unprovoked attack’


Three individuals have been arrested following an incident where a schoolboy in Scotland was attacked by a gang in what has been described as an ‘unprovoked attack’. The 14-year-old boy suffered serious injuries after being targeted by a group of youths at Slateford Green in Edinburgh around 8 pm on Monday, December 2.

The boy was swiftly taken to the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People, where he is reported to be in a stable condition. The group responsible for the attack consisted of seven males and three females, all in their mid to late teens. Two 15-year-old boys and a 17-year-old girl have been arrested and charged in connection with the assault, and they will be reported to the appropriate authorities.

Detective Inspector Gordon Couper stated that extensive investigations are ongoing to locate all those involved in the attack.
