Vile dad and daughter cops mocked gay and disabled people on WhatsApp

A father and daughter who were former police officers have been found to have exchanged derogatory and offensive messages, including racist and discriminatory remarks, on WhatsApp. Annie and Craig Napier, based in separate departments, were discovered to have sent repulsive messages between April 21, 2020, and May 26, 2021. The messages included mockery of disabled and gay individuals, crime victims, and colleagues while they were employed by West Midlands Police.

During a misconduct panel hearing, it was revealed that they used degrading language towards individuals with disabilities, made racist comments, and even made insensitive remarks about a child’s death. The father also used a racist term to describe Black mental health workers, while the daughter joked about protesters being run over and suggested violence towards a colleague.
