Violent Scottish Rapist Sentenced for ‘Unimaginable’ Abuse Against Two Women

John Allen, a violent and controlling rapist from Denny, has been sentenced to jail for his despicable actions against two women. Following a trial at the High Court in Stirling, the 28-year-old was found guilty of 10 charges on August 26. The court heard how Allen subjected the women to a campaign of abuse, including shouting, swearing, name-calling, and threats of self-harm. One victim was restricted from contacting her family, forced to sign a contract, surrender her wages, and give up control of her finances. Additionally, Allen physically assaulted the same woman by repeatedly stomping on her head.

On a separate occasion, Allen unlawfully entered the victim’s car, took her phone, threatened her life, and demanded she drive. The court also convicted him of multiple sexual offenses involving both victims. At the High Court in Glasgow on November 12, Allen received a 13-year extended sentence with nine years in custody, alongside being placed indefinitely on the sex offenders register. Non-harassment orders were granted to prevent Allen from contacting the women.

Following the sentencing, Scotland’s Procurator Fiscal for High Court Sexual Offending, Katrina Parkes, commended the bravery of the victims in coming forward and urged others to seek justice. Detective Inspector Forbes Wilson from Police Scotland’s Public Protection Unit in Forth Valley praised the victims for their strength and emphasized that support is available to all survivors of such crimes.

This case highlights the importance of speaking out against abuse and seeking justice for survivors. It serves as a reminder that perpetrators of such heinous acts will face consequences for their actions and that support is available for those who come forward.
