Coatbridge, Airdrie & Monklands Rotary Club holds annual young musician competition

Coatbridge, Airdrie & Monklands Rotary Club recently hosted its annual young musician competition, shining a well-deserved spotlight on musical talents in the community. The competition took place at Airdrie Academy, with 29 pupils showcasing their musical abilities. Past-president Colin Ooi warmly welcomed pupils, parents, and the audience to the event.

Music teachers Scott McCorkindale and Hope Sim had the challenging task of selecting winners in each category, as well as an overall winner and a runner-up. Nathan Donnelly was awarded the prestigious title of overall winner, with Joseph Howard claiming the runner-up spot. President John Beever presented certificates and trophies to the successful participants.
