Dalbeattie Rotary Club’s Santa’s Grotto experience is a must for the kids

Dalbeattie Rotary Club is gearing up to host a festive treat for children with their Santa’s Grotto experience at Glaisters Farm. Scheduled for the weekends of November 30/December 1 and December 7 and 8, the event promises a magical encounter with Santa himself. The farm, also home to the Scottish Christmas Tree Centre, has been transformed into a winter wonderland by Rory Young and his team.
Aside from meeting Santa in his enchanting grotto, kids can enjoy various activities while awaiting their turn. Brigston Catering will be on hand to provide refreshments for the visitors. This Santa’s Grotto experience is not only a delightful community event but also serves as a fundraiser for the Dalbeattie Food Bank, now known as Community Pantry, to assist in providing Christmas hampers. An entry donation of at least £5 per child is suggested, which includes a gift from Santa and access to all the activities on offer.
The Dalbeattie Rotary Club expresses gratitude to the Dalbeattie Book Shop for their support in sourcing gifts for the event, adding an extra touch of generosity and community spirit to the occasion. Kids and families are invited to immerse themselves in the festive cheer and contribute to a worthy cause at this heartwarming event.
In summary, the Dalbeattie Rotary Club is set to spread holiday joy with their Santa’s Grotto experience at Glaisters Farm. With Santa’s personal appearance and a range of activities for children, all proceeds from this community event will go towards supporting the local food bank in providing Christmas hampers for those in need. Join in the festive fun and generosity at this magical event!
