Family and friends share poignant tribute to ‘beautiful Phe’ after death in East Kilbride flat

Family and friends have come together to share a heartfelt tribute to Phoenix Spencer-Horn, who tragically passed away in a flat in East Kilbride. The young woman, described as “kind,” “warm,” and “generous,” was remembered by loved ones who asked the community to join in honouring her memory.
A touching tribute featuring angel wings, a love heart, and a candle with the nickname ‘Phe’ was circulated on social media after her family and friends requested that people pay their respects in this manner. Phoenix, a 21-year-old who worked at the Strathaven Hotel and Roasted cafe, was found deceased in Glen Lee, leading to an outpouring of tributes from those who knew her.
Phoenix’s boyfriend, Ewan Methven, appeared in court charged with her murder and was remanded in custody. Police Scotland reported that Phoenix’s family is devastated by her sudden loss. In an effort to celebrate her life, friends and family urged others to share the tribute image as a symbol of remembrance and respect.
A fundraiser was launched to support Phoenix’s family with funeral expenses, raising over £2500 so far.
