Full details of West Lothian’s Remembrance Sunday events

West Lothian is gearing up for Remembrance Sunday with several events planned across the region. Members of the public are encouraged to join armed forces veterans and participants to pay their respects at these solemn commemorations.
The Royal British Legion Scotland Livingston Branch will be hosting a Remembrance Sunday Service at West Lothian Civic Centre starting at 10.45 am on Sunday, 10th November. Meanwhile, in Bathgate, a service will take place at the War Memorial at 1 pm with the parade departing from North Bridge Street at 12.45 pm.
In Uphall and Broxburn, the service will commence at Broxburn Parish Church at 1.30 pm on Sunday, 10th November, concluding at the War Memorial at Strathbrock Community Centre. Armadale will see the parade gathering at Armadale Parish Church at 10.00 am on the same day, moving towards the War Memorial on North Street for a service at 10.30 am.
Whitburn will host its Armistice Parade, starting at Taste car park at 10.30 am on Sunday, 10th November, followed by a service at Whitburn South Church led by Rev. Robert Craig. The Kirknewton and East Calder church service will kick off at 10 am on Sunday, 10th November, at Manse Court, East Calder.
Additionally, a coach will depart for the church service at the Cenotaph at 10.45 am. Support will be provided for those with walking difficulties, with a mini bus available to participate in the parade.
