Girl, 3, may never walk or talk again after catching virus ‘like a common cold’

Initially suspected of tonsillitis, Daisy was sent home with antibiotics, but as her condition worsened, she was rushed to the hospital where a CT scan revealed encephalitis, a brain inflammation from an infection.
