Homesense’s £15 stylish ornament looks similar to £3k one celebrities buy – Daily Record

Savvy shoppers can have touches of high-end luxury in their homes for less with these ornaments that look almost identical to a designer brand. Homesense, known for its unique home decor finds, offers these items at a fraction of the usual cost. For those looking to enhance their home decor, Homesense stores are now stocking smaller ‘lookalike’ versions of designer ornaments, which could be easily confused with the high-end Bearbrick label. The products can command prices up to £3,000 for certain designs.

However, Homesense, which falls under the TK Maxx family, is selling alternative versions for much less. In a video, an excited shopper found the ornaments on sale in-store for a mere £15. TikToker Ellie (@Fenloninteriors_) filmed her visit to a Homesense store in Liverpool where she happened upon the product. The video was captioned: “Look who’s back! Homesense bearbrick [alternative] minis!” In the footage, Ellie showcased the bears sold in packs of three, with a price tag of £14.99 on the back.

One pack included blue, pink and silver bears, while another offered all matte black or an all-metallic assortment. She also came across a vibrant collection of balloon-style animals, featuring a dog, poodle and unicorn, priced at £17.99. Ellie commented: “These would look gorgeous on a media unit or console table”, noting that the figures “add personality” to any living space. She spotted sets with a drip paint effect and some that “looked like jelly bear sweets”.

Ellie was nearly finished filming when she came across a “unique” bowl featuring a similar style bear. Although she wasn’t keen on the marbled colors, she acknowledged that a quick spray paint job could transform it into the “cutest snack bowl”. Her video, shot in Aintree, has since garnered over 22,000 views from thrilled bargain hunters since its upload days ago [November 29]. Enthusiastic shoppers reacted with comments like: “I need!” and others saying: “How fab are they!”

These decorations closely resemble figures by Bearbrick, which debuted in 2001, born from the Japanese toy brand Medicom’s Kubrick figurines, modified with a bear head. They have grown to become highly coveted collector’s items. Meanwhile, similar trinkets have been previously spotted in TK Maxx and B&M stores. Supermarket giant Aldi also released ‘create your own’ kits reminiscent of the Bearbrick style last month.

Through Homesense, shoppers are able to access luxury-style home decor items at a fraction of the cost, allowing them to elevate their living spaces with designer-inspired ornaments without breaking the bank. With the rise of social media influencers and platforms like TikTok showcasing such finds, more shoppers are discovering these affordable alternatives to high-end designer brands, making stylish home decor accessible to a wider audience. By keeping an eye out for these budget-friendly options, interior enthusiasts can create a luxurious look for less, adding unique touches to their homes without compromising on style.
