The Renault Scenic E-Tech has been awarded the prestigious title of Scottish Car Of The Year by the Association of Scottish Motoring Writers (ASMW) in association with Arnold Clark. The award ceremony, held at the Dalmahoy Country Club in Edinburgh, saw the Renault Scenic E-Tech impressing the judges with its versatility, comfort, driving range, quality, and sleek design, making it stand out among tough competition. The Electric Family Car title was also claimed by the talented Scenic E-Tech.

Kia had a strong showing at the awards, winning three category awards with the Kia EV9 taking the Large EV title, Manufacturer of the Year, and the Kia Sportage winning Used Car Over £15,000. Other notable winners included Suzuki Swift for Small Car and Best Eco Performance, Lexus LBX for Compact Crossover/SUV, Skoda Kodiaq for ICE Family Car, and Hyundai for both Large ICE Car and Performance categories.

The revamped Kia EV6 was also previewed at the event, showcasing a fresh look, upgraded technology, and enhanced driving range with a new 84kWh battery. The EV6 offers two powertrains and three trim levels, catering to different preferences and starting at £45,575. The interior features modern amenities such as fingerprint recognition technology, premium seating options, and advanced safety features.
