Montell Douglas becomes 10th Strictly Come Dancing star to be eliminated

Former Olympian and Gladiator, Montell Douglas, has been eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing, becoming the 10th celebrity to exit the competition after the Musical Week quarter-final. The elimination came after a dance-off against former Love Islander Tasha Ghouri and her partner Aljaz Skorjanec.

Despite scoring well with 38 points for their Argentine tango to Ex-Wives from Six The Musical, Ghouri and Skorjanec found themselves in the dance-off. On the other hand, Douglas and her partner Johannes Radebe scored 32 for their rumba to I’m Here from The Colour Purple on the live show. After both couples performed their dances for a second time on the results show, the judges unanimously decided to save Ghouri and Skorjanec, sending Douglas and Radebe home.
