The UK National Crime Agency (NCA) has successfully apprehended one of the FBI’s most wanted terrorists who had been on the run for 20 years. Daniel Andreas San Diego, 46, was captured in the Conwy area of Wales, after being sought for two bombings in the San Francisco region back in 2003. The FBI Director, Christopher Wray, affirmed that San Diego’s arrest signifies the commitment of the US government agency to pursue criminals relentlessly. Wray stated, “Daniel San Diego’s arrest after more than 20 years as a fugitive for two bombings in the San Francisco area shows that no matter how long it takes, the FBI will find you and hold you accountable. The bombings occurred at the offices of a biotechnology corporation in Emeryville on August 28, 2003, with another bomb exploding at a nutritional products corporation in Pleasanton on September 26 of the same year. San Diego was indicted in the United States District Court, Northern District of California, in July 2004, and was known to have ties to militant animal rights groups. His listing on the FBI’s Most Wanted website warned that he should be considered armed and dangerous.
