The £107 million sewer upgrade project in Perth is now entering its final phase, as confirmed by Scottish Water. The remaining 100-metre section of the Tay Street and Shore Road ‘super sewer,’ which includes 500 metres of essential pipeline along Tay Street, is set to begin construction next week. The installation of a new 2.2-metre diameter sewer pipeline, costing £23.2 million, covering 500 metres will bolster Perth’s waste water network for the future. Despite challenging weather conditions during the summer, significant progress has been achieved on-site, with the completion of five out of seven chambers and the installation of 380 metres of sewer.
