Police hunt Scots driver after three hit-and-run incidents in less than half an hour


Police in Forth Valley are on the lookout for a Scottish driver involved in three hit-and-run incidents within a span of just 25 minutes. The Road Policing officers are seeking information regarding the incidents that occurred on Thursday, November 28. The driver failed to stop after each of the crashes, which took place between 4.45pm and 5.10pm.

The incidents occurred on the M9 northbound at Junction 6 near Grangemouth, the M876 southbound at Junction 1 near Bonnybridge, and Glasgow Road, Head of Muir, close to the junction with Drove Loan. The suspect vehicle is believed to be a black car, possibly a 12 plate Ford Focus, with damage to the front and the passenger-side wing mirror.

Constable John Lang assured that no injuries were reported in any of the incidents, and enquiries are ongoing to locate the driver and the vehicle. He urged the public to come forward with any relevant information or dashcam footage they might possess. Anyone who witnessed the crashes or saw a black car matching the description is encouraged to contact Police Scotland at 101, quoting reference 2598 of November 28.
