Police launch frantic search for missing Scots woman as concerns grow

Police in Scotland have launched a frantic search for a missing woman from the Isle of Benbecula, as concerns continue to grow. The missing woman, Shanahan MacInnes, aged 28, was last seen around 1.30 am on Friday, November 22, in the Tindill Road area of Balivanich. Shanahan is described as 5ft 8in tall, slim build, with long blonde hair. When last seen, she was wearing a burgundy tracksuit and white trainers with a black Nike tick. Authorities have mentioned that Shanahan might have changed into black trainers with a gold buckle and a black North Face jacket. Inspector Ross McCartney expressed, “This is extremely out of character for Shanahan to be missing, and we’re becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare.”
Extensive searches are being conducted in the local area as authorities appeal to anyone with information on Shanahan’s whereabouts or who may have seen her to come forward. Inspector McCartney urged residents to check their gardens, sheds, or any other areas where Shanahan might seek shelter.
