Santa will be returning to Wishaw with his sleigh thanks to Rotary club


Santa Claus is making his highly-anticipated return to Wishaw this festive season, all thanks to the Rotary club. The jolly man in red will be spreading Christmas cheer throughout the town on December 16, starting off his sleigh ride at Tesco Express in Coltness Road.

From 5.30pm to around 6.15pm, Santa and his magical sleigh will be stationed at the supermarket car park, ready to meet and greet excited children. Following this initial stop, Santa will journey along Coltness Road and North Kilmeny Crescent, making his way to his next stop at Newark Drive lock-ups from 6.20pm to 6.40pm.

The festive tour continues as Santa travels along various streets including Innerleithen Drive, Kilmeny Crescent, Traquair Drive, and Stobo Street to his second stop at Greenlaw Avenue lock-ups. Here, he will be from around 6.45pm to 7pm, before proceeding to Melrose Crescent opposite the swing park for his third stop from 7.10pm until 7.30pm.

After spreading joy and Christmas magic in Wishaw, Santa will make his way back to the North Pole to prepare for his worldwide special deliveries on Christmas Day.
