Celebrity chef Ferrier Richardson, known for serving Kings, Presidents, and A-listers, has declared Glasgow to have the world’s best restaurants. Despite cooking for prestigious clients like Erling Haaland and Robert de Niro, Richardson’s heart remains loyal to his hometown of Glasgow. Originating from Govan, Richardson revitalized the culinary scene of establishments like Rogano and The Buttery, worked as an Executive Chef at Glasgow’s first five-star hotel, and managed multiple award-winning restaurants in the city. After spending 20 years as a private chef in Central Africa, he returned to Glasgow in 2022 and opened The East End Fox in Garrowhill.
