Scots ice hockey player caged for raping underage girl in car after sleepover


A Scottish ice hockey player has been sentenced to prison for sexually assaulting an underage girl in his car after picking her up from a sleepover. Darren Donaldson, a player for Dundee Stars Under-19s, met the victim, who was under 16 at the time, through friends and teammates. The incident occurred on August 4, 2022, when Donaldson drove the intoxicated girl to a secluded area in Perth and Kinross, where he raped her in his car before returning her to her friend’s house.
