Sheriff locks up high-risk knife offender after Motherwell tower block incident

Sheriff John Hamilton has incarcerated a high-risk knife offender following an incident at a tower block in Motherwell. Aiden Gaitens, aged 20, was discovered on the ninth floor of Barons Tower carrying a machete, which he claimed was for protection. Social workers have identified Gaitens as a high risk for reoffending.
