An award-winning charity in Stirling has launched a fundraising draw that gives Scottish rugby fans the opportunity to win a piece of sporting memorabilia. The Equi-Power RDA charity, established in 2015, aims to support individuals with diverse physical and cognitive needs through equine therapeutic activities. Their services have expanded to include those with cognitive conditions, veterans with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and families in stress.

Facing financial pressures and increased operational costs common among charities during the winter season, Equi-Power sought new ways to raise funds. Their efforts were supported by two local businessmen, Michael McNeill and Colin Easton, who generously donated a signed shirt from the Scotland v Portugal rugby match at Murrayfield last month. The shirt was handed over by former internationals Johnnie Beattie and Goncalo Uva.

Michael and Colin, directors of engineering consultancy ControlPro Ltd, recognised the value of rugby memorabilia and decided to contribute the shirt to Equi-Power’s fundraising initiative.
