Stirling rail commuters to have Pudsey visit as Children in Need fundraising kicks into gear

Stirling rail commuters are in for a special treat as the iconic Pudsey Bear is set to make an appearance at Stirling station in support of Children in Need fundraising efforts. The annual fundraiser, led by Stirling and Bridge of Allan Round Table, aims to raise money for the charity with a series of events throughout the region. Pudsey Bear will be embarking on a busy schedule, visiting schools, nurseries, and even Blair Drummond Safari Park as part of the fundraising drive.
In a special addition to this year’s events, Pudsey will be making morning and afternoon appearances at Stirling station for bucket collections, targeting commuters to help support the charity. The Round Table volunteers, who organize the fundraiser, are excited to have Pudsey back at the station after Covid restrictions prevented such visits in the past. Every penny raised during the fundraising drive will go directly to Children in Need.
Organizer Paul Ford expressed gratitude to ScotRail for allowing Pudsey’s return to the station and praised the support received from the local community. Commuters who are unable to donate in person can still contribute to the Round Table’s Children in Need fundraiser through their JustGiving page.
The presence of Pudsey Bear at Stirling station is sure to enhance the fundraising efforts for Children in Need, bringing a touch of joy and generosity to the daily commute of rail passengers. As the community comes together to support this worthy cause, the spirit of giving is truly evident in Stirling.
